Happy Wednesday everyone!
I would like to break it up a little today and share my current 10 favorite kitchen items instead of another recipe. I get a lot of questions about the tools and gadgets I prefer to accomplish mainly baking recipes, but I have honestly thrown in anything and everything in my kitchen.

Dutch ovens can get pricey quick, but I received this one in white as a wedding gift and I loved it (and the price) so much I bought one for my Mother-In-Law and Grandmother for Christmas! They used to come individually, but now they are sold in a set. I use mine for stews, soups, frying and so much more.
I know that I am not the only person obsessed with the Pioneer Woman. I seriously could do an entire post on her Walmart product line but settled to share my favorite item. This All Purpose Turner is my go-to tool in the kitchen, whether I am taking cookies off of the sheet or cooking chicken in a skillet. I think its versatility is the reason I love this tool.
The secret to taking your baking from good to “oh my gosh I have to have this recipe” good. This vanilla may look like just a kitchen ingredient, but in my Noni’s kitchen, it is definitely a tool. I can not stress the importance of flavor building in baking enough, however, there is a fine line between too much and not enough and that knowledge just comes with practice.
In the Clark home, we eat real butter and yes, we leave it out on the counter. Mainly because I have the horrible habit of craving a Saltine and dipping it in room temp butter, which I learned from my Dad. So, why not dress it up in a cute butter dish?
I love an organized pantry and fridge, so when it came to our wedding registry these OXO storage containers were a must. I love that they are clear and airtight. They keep cereal fresh forever!
ChicWrap has changed the game of cling wrap, parchment and now foil! I have talked about this product before, but I am a raving fan of it. The smooth blade that cuts the sheets perfectly everytime is a no-brainer compared to the old tug and pull. P.S. If you live in Center, Payne & Payne Home N’ Suchlike carries them!
A sweet friend gave me this Hearth and Hand enamel pitcher for Christmas and it has stayed on my coffee bar ever since. This pitcher is vintage chic and I use it not only for tea but as a vase too! Unfortunately, all the other Target and Joanna Gaines fans must love it too, because they are sold out. I did find a similar one on Amazon!
I have been a baker for as long as I can remember and one cake I use to refuse to bake was a pound cake believe it or not. I would get so frustrated because they never came out of the pan like my Noni’s would. But now thanks to this tool, Baker’s Joy, pound cakes are my favorite cakes to bake!
This may not be a tool, but I use these expanding bottle stoppers all the time. I have tried other stoppers, but nothing compares to these. They keep your beverages nice and fresh compared to simply sticking the cork back in.
Lastly, and my latest obsession, my custom rolling pin. Another dear friend gave this to me and I was immediately in love. I am a sucker for sentimental gifts and this one blew me away! I stared at it for about a week wondering if I should use it or just leave it on the counter and look at it in awe? But, like I said, that only lasted a week and I used it for a pie crust. The imprint on the dough was amazing and gives a personal touch to all of your baking! These are also available to order at Payne & Payne Home N’ Suchlike in Center, Texas.
What a lengthy post this was, but I hope you enjoyed it and walk away with inspiration and possibly a new favorite kitchen item.
XO, Ashton
